Denison Yachting are a superyacht broker and builder based in Fort Lauderdale, USA. They approached Transmission to publish a luxury travel and maritime life magazine, to help them connect with potential customers at global superyacht shows and events. We developed the magazine from the ground up, which included naming the publication, strategy, content creation, editorial direction and design direction, which inspired by Frank Denison, who founded Denison Yachting and Ship Building company in the mid 1930’s. The playful visual language nods to this heritage (by combining 1930’s serif typography with a contemporary sans serif) and the cover art direction illustrates all three lead cover stories in a fictitious landscape.
